How to play Penalty Shoot Out

Dead simple to learn, hard to put down. Here are the rules, the 5 spots, how the multipliers climb and the one decision that matters: when to cash out.

It is not a slot: it is a penalty

The first thing to grasp is what it is not. Penalty Shoot Out has no reels, paylines, symbols, scatters or wilds. Forget all of that. It is a crash game from Evoplay built like a penalty shootout: you bet, you shoot and the multiplier climbs with every goal. As simple as that.

If you have ever played Aviator, you already understand half of it: the skill is not in "hitting a combination" but in deciding when to cash out before the run ends.

The rules, in 5 steps

  1. Set your bet

Decide how much to stake on the round. Start small until you get the feel for it.

  2. Pick a team

There are 24 teams to choose from. It is cosmetic only: it does not change your odds, just the kit.

  3. Take the penalty

You pick 1 of 5 spots in the goal. The keeper also picks where to dive. If he does not save it, you score.

  4. Cash out or carry on?

After every goal the multiplier climbs. You can cash out and keep the win, or risk the next penalty.

  5. Watch out for a miss

If the keeper saves it, you lose that round bet. The whole skill is knowing when to stop.

The 5 spots

Where you can shoot

On every shot you pick one of five directions. The keeper picks where to dive. It is a pure duel: there is no pattern you can predict.

1 2 3 4 5
On each shot you pick 1 of 5 directions. The keeper also picks: if they don't save it, you score a goal and the multiplier climbs.
The multipliers

Each goal doubles it

The first goal pays 1.92x and each goal after that doubles it, up to 30.72x with all five. Here is the ladder:

1.92x
Goal 1
3.84x
Goal 2
7.68x
Goal 3
15.36x
Goal 4
30.72x
Goal 5

Cash out or risk it? The one decision that matters

This is the heart of the game. After every goal you have two options: cash out and keep what you have won, or risk the next penalty to double it. A single miss and you lose the round bet.

There is no "right" answer: it comes down to your appetite for risk. A conservative approach cashes out on the second or third goal, chasing small, steady wins. An aggressive one goes for the 30.72x, accepting that it will miss plenty of times. What does not work is believing there is a pattern or a "predictor": the result is random. Preguntas frecuentes

How do you play Penalty Shoot Out step by step?

Set your bet, pick a team, shoot at one of the 5 spots and, if you score, decide whether to cash out or carry on. Each goal doubles the multiplier up to a maximum of 30.72x with 5 goals.

Does the team I pick change my odds?

No. Choosing one team or another is purely cosmetic. Every penalty result is random (RNG) and independent.

How many penalties do I take per round?

Up to 5. After the fifth goal you hit the maximum multiplier of 30.72x.

Is it better to cash out early or push your luck?

It depends on your appetite for risk. Cashing out early locks in small, frequent wins; pushing on chases the 30.72x but one miss leaves you with nothing. Practise in the demo.

Are there symbols, paylines or free spins?

No. This is not a slot: there are no reels, symbols, scatters, wilds or free spins. It is a penalty crash game.
